“Veronica Kent’s exhibition at Ryan Renshaw Gallery, Funny Face, is a roller coaster ride of highly coloured 2D images with a focus on tensions between surfaces (painted, printed, fabric, digitally generated) and narratives; and how these effects are transferred between and within each work. Her work has a recurring theme of visual representations of unseen forces such as telepathy, love and wonder. Funny Face is a visual journey through making what is invisible visible.
