‘Plein Air Dreaming’ developed out of an invitation

from Artbank to work with their collection.

The project involved The Telepathy Project

(Sean Peoples and Veronica Kent finding the exact

location of landscapes in paintings from the

collection and then sleeping in these places and

recording our dreams. On our return to the studio we

‘repainted’ the landscapes but this time

– inhabited by our dreams.

The original paintings are ‘Tidal River’ by Liz Sullivan (1988)

and “The Road to Costerfield” by Michael Shannon (1983)
